The Red Devils paid £52 million to sign the midfielder from Shakhtar Donetsk back in 2018. 

His value has taken a massive plummet in the years that followed as he remains a hit-or-miss player at Old Trafford. 

Now, Man United are looking to raise funds through transfers but are open to selling Fred. 

His contract runs till the summer of 2024, making £20 million a reasonable asking price. However, Goal understands Fulham are unwilling to pay so much for the Brazilian. 

Instead, Fulham are hoping to reach a 'compromise' with Man United as they are very keen on signing the 30-year-old.

Utd should change their tense when they do transactions : make a very realistic offer and only negotiate + or - £5m, take it or leave it and either go for the free players such as Rabiot or ask the player if he is desperate to join to talk to his club, request a transfer + threaten them to go on strike. I would love to see H Kane challenging Me Levi this summer and leave for free next year.

Yes, agree with you. We don't hv to go for big names all the time. We have missed out many good players before they made their name such as Caicedo, Odegaard. When MC signed Gundogan,  De Bruyne, Silva, Dias, i haven't heard of their name also. Likewise, I haven't heard of Salah before Liv signed him. We must be smart enough to sign players before their value inflated but I doubt the current management is capable of doing that.

I think this is the impression of other clubs that we're used to pay unrealistic fees for mediocre players like Maguire, Antony, Martial, Fred, VDB, Sancho & a poor negotiator all along so now they are taking advantage to even press the value of our players to even lower like Bailey & Fred.

Don’t sell Fred for that price.Keep him .The ‘pastor’ has ‘friends upstairs’ obviously …
