Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of trying to score 'by any means possible' after a controversial episode against Newcastle United on Sunday.
Newcastle appeared to have taken a free-kick outside their box in the second half with Fabian Schar touching the ball before leaving it for Nick Pope.
And as the goalkeeper stood over the ball, preparing to take the set-piece, Ronaldo raced past the England shot-stopper and placing the ball into net.
The goal was disallowed but a footage from the stands at Old Trafford shows that Schar had in fact made contact with the ball after the referee's whistle.
Therefore, the ball was in play and Craig Pawson should've at least consulted VAR which would have told him that the 37-year-old's goal was perfectly legal.
