Speaking about how Marcus Rashford’s charity work inspired him to work harder on his own activisim towards increasing awareness about the impact of climate change, Leeds United star Patrick Bamford told Sky Sports: “I think that Marcus has shown that this year - that you can do so much on the pitch but you can do even more off the pitch and I think that he's kind of set the ball rolling for a lot of us.
“And I think that's kind of pushed me or kind of given me the impetus to do more and show that I can make a change as well. So hopefully it won't just be me, it will be a lot of people following suit.”
Bamford has been working hard over the last year to make more people aware of the hazards of the changes in the environment. He’s an activist for saving the environment and curb climate change issues, with Rashford’s work inspiring him to go forward with his activism.
The Leeds striker will face Man United in the opening game of the Premier League season on August 14.
