Starting XI
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer mostly got his team selection right on Sunday, keeping Dean Henderson in the starting XI despite David De Gea's return. However, the manager's decision to start barely fit Victor Lindelof over backfired, with the Swede making a mistake during Danny Welbeck's opening goal.
Fiery half-time talk
Manchester United went into the break a goal down and Solskjaer reportedly gave some of his players a hairdryer treatment in the dressing room. Whatever harsh words the Norwegian said clearly worked, with the Red Devils scoring two second-half goals to seal a comeback and secure the 3 points.
Bringing on Van de Beek
Donny van de Beek played a vital role in Mason Greenwood's late second-half goal as Man United wrapped up an impressive turnaround. Keeping faith in the Dutchman and bringing him on against Brighton despite his struggles on international duty was a really good call from the manager.
