Fans react as Liverpool go 1-0 down to West Ham's 'corner taken quickly' in first-half

Liverpool have conceded the first goal of the game against West Ham after dominating much of the ball but showing little by way of goal threat.

They were punished by a quickly taken corner by the Hammers which was whipped in and met by Jarrod Bowen.

Short corner finds Kudus.

Kudus whips in the cross.

Bowen heads the ball towards Alisson's goal.

Alisson gets fingertips on it but can't keep it out.

Fans have understandably been annoyed by the goal Liverpool conceded, especially in the manner Bowen was allowed to score.

PaulGorst: "Such a sloppy goal to concede from Liverpool's perspective. Quansah gives it away, forces Alisson to make a save and they're all asleep from the corner that followed."

LFCLaurie: "We're actually laughable. Look how many players are surrounding Bowen. You wouldn't believe we were still technically in a title race."

JamesPearce: "That's so poor. Done from a set-piece once again. Lack of awareness, lack of communication, lack of organisation. Bowen scores against Liverpool once again."
