West Ham 'hold talks' with Ruben Amorim

The Athletic's David Ornstein reports that West Ham have 'held talks' with Ruben Amorim over taking over at London Stadium after the end of the season.

The Portuguese tactician is a very ambitious target for the Hammers, considering that he has been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Bayern.

Ornstein adds that an Anfield move for Amorim is 'unlikely' at the moment. The Reds are still assessing the candidates and the 39-year-old does not seem to fit the bill.

It has previously been reported by other sources, including Fabrizio Romano, that Amorim is the 'favoured' option to succeed Jurgen Klopp.
