Liverpool have been lucky to recover some of their key players from injury, like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota and Alisson. However, the Reds still have some names on the injury list.
Here's the latest update and return dates on the five injured players at Liverpool ahead of the Merseyside derby coming up this Wednesday.
Conor Bradley – Early May
The defender will miss the derby with the ankle injury he picked up against Crystal Palace last week.
Stefan Bajcetic – May
The Spanish midfielder has struggled with injuries since his breakthrough campaign last year. But after making a cameo for Liverpool's under-21s, Bajcetic is now expected to be back with the first team in May.
Joel Matip – August
Matip is still recovering from the ACL he suffered in December against Fulham. It is concluded that the Cameroonian's season is over.
Thiago Alcantara – Unknown
Thiago's hamstring problem refuses to go away. At this point, it's hard to tell if the midfielder can play again this season.
Ben Doak – Unknown
After showing so much promise for Liverpool, injuries are now derailing the emergence of Doak. There is currently no time frame for his recovery from the latest injury he suffered while playing for the youth team.
