Sporting CP gaffer Ruben Amorim has emerged as the strong favourite to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool this summer.
However, Amorim says his son doesn't want him to leave Portugal for a job abroad.
"Even my son asks me for both things [to stay and win titles with Sporting]," Amorim was quoted.
"The important thing is for Sporting to be champions. That’s what the fans want and that’s what we fight for,” the Portuguese tactician added.
Liverpool are said to be preparing a three-year deal for the 39-year-old manager who reportedly already has the blessing of new Liverpool football CEO Michael Edwards.
Amorin is leading Sporting to a league title with the Portuguese side boasting a 100% record in their last five games and three games away from being crowned Champions.
