Won a penalty on his first start in two months. Creative in the first half, understandably grew tired as the game went on. Subbed after 70 minutes.
Mac Allister - 7
Was limited in his movement as he was tasked with being the deepest midfielder. Clean in possession, fine defensively.
Salah - 5
Converted the penalty, missed a big chance late in the first half. Disappeared after the break. Subbed off.
Szoboszlai - 5
Still has not hit his best form since coming back from an injury, although combined well with Trent. Subbed off.
Nunez - 5
Subbed on in the second half. You would barely have spotted that. Offered little up front as Liverpool's chance to overturn the tie died down.
Jota - 5
Did not really prove to be the saviour fans had hoped him to be. Barely a sniff.
