Ruben Amorim cracks joke when asked about Liverpool 'agreement'

Ruben Amorim has been heavily linked with succeeding Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool after the end of the season.

It was reported earlier this month that the Portuguese tactician had reached an agreement with the Reds. He went on to deny it in public.

Asked whether he addressed Sporting players about the rumours of him leaving the club, Amorim said, as quoted by Sport Witness: “I didn’t say anything to the players.

“When it was mentioned that I had an agreement with Liverpool, I felt the need to talk, but I left that part for the press conference. I don’t get anything from the players, they just ask about days off.”
