No flags at the Kop for Atalanta game, only banner hints at reason

Anfield is a stadium with a special atmosphere on a European night, and the Kop plays a large role in that with all the flags and banners.

However, there are no flags there for the Europa League clash with Atalanta.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool fans protest against the ticket price rise announced by the club last week. The club announced a 2% increase for season ticket holders and general admission tickets for the next season.

The only banner that was held up at the Kop seems to confirm this theory as it read 'No to ticket price increases'.

Hopefully, it does not result in a poor support for the tam who are trying to secure a place in the Europa League semi-final.
