Something must be going on in the team, this is the same back passing that we complained of last season and now that they needed to make play better instead they are starting to play very slow like confused players.

I have carried out some game analysis. We are the only team playing the ball side ways and backward. Younger players like Quansah now look sideways and backward always. This has killed the initiatives and creativity of most of our players. This is the major reason we are always prone to conceding goals.

all this backwards and sideway passing
is allowing teams to reset in and organise themselves in defence.
and its not like 
we have the most
skillful players, to then dismantle teams that sit back and allow us to have  the ball.

we lose the art of surpise
and the initiative. by not being a bit more direct.
yet we've  
scored plenty goals.
but we cant score when we most need to.
we have more energy than most teams Victor.

Thank you. I can't agree less with you. We do not have creative players. We have used the backward and sideways passes to kill the creativity of many players in our. Most times, I watch with pains how from the final third when we should create chances, we move the ball back as far as to our goalkeeper. Watch VVD, Konate, Robertson, Quansah, Endo, Gomez, and almost all our players. The few players that really move us forward in relative terms  are Matip, Bradley, Trent. You will notice that none of these played yesterday. 
In recent times, the few creative players in our team such as Coutinho, Shaqiri and lately  Mac-Alister in the Klopp era all have the creativity hindered by many players that who prefer to always return the ball to the goalkeeper.
I think smart Coaches have seen this weakness. With a little press, we concede goals. That is why we hardly have clean sheets in matches. The sad thing is that the act is getting worse and worse by the day.
Hopefully, the incoming Manager will address this.

I like Elliot for the future but it often seems his first thought under pressure is backwards. Not good enough yet. Top players are much more aware of their options and have the belief that they can go forward. The reason we love Nunez is his attack attitude. Yes he needs more fines but like Mo. First thought is score.

i think its time for a change.
tactically inept.
this season, this season has been a season of a charm life for us with us always coming from behind.
it was always a question of how long could we get away with it.
i think yesterdays result along with recent results with the Mancs
answers our question.
i fear this season will peater out with us just holding the league cup waving goodbye to Klopp really..

something catastrophic would have to happen to Atalanta  Arsenal and City.
for us to be lifting any other silverware.

but that can only work if we have players who have complete control of the ball.
basic trap n pass and move. were very clumsy at.
to trap n control the ball, our fella'z needs two to three touches,
thats to slow by then we've lost the ball.
there's things Klopp should be addressing on the training pitch.
Shitty does this innately and naturally and thats the difference.
we have more energy than any team on the planet. were lacking skill and the right decision making.
we are where we are right now,

composure and skill.

Absolutely true. You check the team standing up against us are easily cowed by Man City and now Arsenal. 
I think our dragging opponent back to our half is an admission that we don't have the keys to open them up. When the ball is on the feet of Roberson and Gomez in the final third, you know that a shot from their feet will 99% go out of range. Then the entire team with perhaps the exception of Mac-Alister runs out of ideas in the final third. Lucho dribbles out of clear position and Salah shoots for the sake of it. Hopefully, the return of Jota will bring some changes because it got worse after his injury.

Before Jota was injured i was saying that Jota is the player that links the play up front.
he's the only attacker out of the lot of them that has that inborn instinct to be in the right position in the oppositions box
to get on to things.
he links well with Diaz and Darwin.
i cant remember the team we were playing Alison or Trent launched 
the ball forward up front on a counter attack,
up to Jota  
who was well in front of the on running Darwin
threw the midfield
Jota instinctively without looking layed off a headed pass right in front of the on
rushing Darwin,
the ball just sat  snugg right in
his path where Nunez neatly finished it off.
we have dearly
missed Jota.

Just look at the amount of havoc he caused in the Atalanta box, 
for the miniutes he came on, 
he almost got himself a couple.
which would of change the complxion, and landscape of the game and probable score line..

Well we've got Jota back 
long may he continue to remain fit.
that also goes for the rest of the team too..
