Liverpool fans to stage protest against rising ticket prices at Atalanta game

Liverpool supporter groups have agreed to not display any flags on the Kop in the Atalanta game on Thursday. There will also be only Hillsborough flags out in the Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

This is to protest the club's decision to increase the ticket prices which was announced last week. Liverpool will charge 2% more for tickets next season, an increase explained by the rise in operating costs.

Fan group Spion Kop 1906 said in a statement: "We are disappointed in the club's decision towards ticket prices for 24/25. In response, there will be no flags on the Kop for Thursday night's game. Unlike the club's own approach, this has been decided in consultation with other fan groups.
