The penalty concerns the breaches committed in a three-year accounting period ending in the 2022/23 season.

As a result, Everton are down to 16th in the Premier League table, just two points above the relegation zone.

This is the second time Everton are hit with a points deduction this season. Previously, they were deducted 10 points, but the penalty was reduced to six points on appeal.

The clubs need to band together as a League, refuse to play until City have been punished and the illegalities and Corruption of the officials, from the top of the FA down exposed and dealt with. Absolutely, I know it's a big ask. However, I'm sure some people who work within our club and maybe others read these comments. We can only hope someone in a position of authority sees them. If it was me, the first thing I'd do is sit down and ring each club, or send a thoroughly descriptive collective email to each club. It's not impossible, just need someone with gumption. Scousers have that in spades 👍👍👍💯💥💥💥

Can’t help but feel for Everton (just a little bit, not much, they did break rules after all ) they did assist in the investigation at least…then there’s City. There will always be questions till the outcomes are revealed and so many law breaks need investigating but come on, how long do you need? Stop bullying the tiny clubs and punish those that truly deserve it.
