Everton have been docked two more points for breaching Premier League's Profit and Sustainability rules.
The penalty concerns the breaches committed in a three-year accounting period ending in the 2022/23 season.
As a result, Everton are down to 16th in the Premier League table, just two points above the relegation zone.
This is the second time Everton are hit with a points deduction this season. Previously, they were deducted 10 points, but the penalty was reduced to six points on appeal.
Nottingham Forest are the other Premier League side to face sanctions this season. Manchester City who are facing 115 charges are still under investigation.
