Joe Gomez came on in the 66th minute of England's defeat against Brazil in a friendly at Wembley on Saturday evening.
It marks the Liverpool defender's first appearance for the Three Lions since October 2020.
The 26-year-old made 18 touches, a tackle and a clearance, and completed 12 passes.
Joe will not be happy with the result though as England suffered a 1-0 defeat, with Endrick striking in the 80th minute.
Gomez said about the game, as quoted by the Evening Standard: “It’s a massive fixture against a top team, so it was nice to be out there. It’s disappointing we didn’t get the win. The team played so well and dominated a lot of the game.
“They did well, but we have a lot of things to be positive about as well. We kept the ball well and had good possession. It’s an important game on Tuesday [against Belgium]. We want to gain momentum again.”
