Bruno Fernandez made a nasty tackle on Dominik Szoboszlai in the 58th minute of the game.
The Man United captain dived into a tackle with his studs showing and hit the Hungarian's leg. He didn't reach the ball.
The referee decided against giving the Portuguese a yellow card and VAR agreed with his decision after a review.
Bruno would have been sent off had he been booked as he's already on a yellow card.
A few minutes after that, Joe Gomez was booked for a tackle on Wan-Bissaka. It was a dangerous challenge and the defender probably deserved the yellow card. But why Bruno wasn't booked, then?
"So that's a yellow but what Bruno did isn't, wtf" one Liverpool fan commented on Reddit.
"Bruno not getting booked and Gomes get booked for this? Fck off," another addded.
"lol I really have no issue with Bruno not getting a yellow but wtf it’s the same kind of challenge with Gomez," another comment reads.
"How does Gomez get a yellow for that but Bruno didn’t get one," said another fan.
