Andy Robertson was full of praise for his front-man Darwin Nunez after his brace against Europa League opponents Sparta Prague.
"We lost him for a couple of weeks but this season he has been unbelievable," said the Liverpool defender.
"No defender likes coming up against him, he can run in behind, he can hold the ball up and now he's starting to add composure to his finishes.
"He needs to keep going and he needs to keep scoring goals for us because that's the only way we are going to be successful this season.
"He was excellent on Thursday and came through it fine with his hamstring, which is an important thing and hopefully that's him good to go for the rest of the season."
Darwin already has 10 goals and 7 assists in the league this season. With his brace in midweek he now has 4 goals in Europa League as well. Hopefully he continues his fine form against Man City on Sunday.
