Meanwhile, according to the Guardian, Liverpool do not want to disturb Alonso's historic Bayer campaign and have not started talks with him yet. They want to respect his commitment to Bayer 04. The Spaniard is 'acutely aware' of the Reds' interest.
The way the approaches differ shows there's a big gap in class between the two sides — Bayern show absolutely no respect to Bayer in their pursuit of Alonso.
