'Their luck will run out': some Arsenal fans sour over Liverpool win at Forest

Liverpool did not just make their fans happy by scoring the match-winning goal against Nottingham Forest in the 99th minute — they made at least two other fanbases very sad.

Man City and Arsenal would've got a chance to gain ground on the Reds if they'd dropped points. Darwin Nunez made sure that would not happen this weekend.

While most rival fans took this blow on the chin, others — particularly, Arsenal fans — did not take it well.

Eduardo Hagn: "Liverpool will eventually fall but how frustrating it is to see teams commit these type of mistakes. Amateurs. Forest had the opportunity to do something two times this week."

MR DT: "Only just catching up with the scores and seeing the Liverpool one. Their luck will run out. They won't win the league IMO. They will finish behind Arsenal and Man City."

James: "Arsenal fans should know better than anyone that scraping through games in a title race like that isn’t sustainable. It’s mentally and physically draining, and those goals won’t always come. We just need to keep doing our thing."

FK: "Dagger. Absolutely gutting. Look forward to Carra slamming Liverpool for their celebrations, though."

AFCAMDEN: "Time added on for Liverpool this season: Until they score. They want Klopp to have his fairytale."
