'The reception I got will stay with me for a long time': Robertson reflects on return to action after four months

Andy Robertson finally returned to action against Norwich in the FA Cup after his four-month injury absence.

The full-back was delighted to have returned and thanked the Liverpool fans for the reception they gave him.

"It was amazing," the full-back said post-match. "That's the kind of feeling I've been waiting for.

"The feeling that I've been [missing] and the tough days in the gym that I've had away from all the lads, that's what I've had to keep in my mind.

"The reception that I got will stay with me for a long time. I can't thank the crowd enough for that. That's what kind of got me through the tough times.

"There's been a lot of them over the last four months and I'm just delighted to be back on the pitch now."
