Liverpool 'ready' to give Curtis Jones new contract — current deal expires in 2027

Curtis Jones is in line to be offered a new contract at Liverpool, Anfield Watch report. The midfielder's current deal is up until 2027 and the new one will run for a further two years.

The 22-year-old is among the lowest-paid players in the Reds' payroll and Liverpool are 'ready' to offer him improved terms to reflect his status as an important first-team player.

Curtis really stepped up last year, gradually establishing himself as one of the best midfielders at Liverpool. The Scouser has come in clutch for the Reds this season, scoring against West Ham in the League Cup and Newcastle in the Premier League.

The report about CuJo's contract extension comes a few days after the rumours that Mikel Arteta wants to sign the 22-year-old for Arsenal emerged.
