Mohamed Salah reportedly leaning towards new Liverpool deal despite Saudi interest

Mohamed Salah's current deal expires in 2025, which means that the Saudi clubs will be able to tempt Liverpool with big-money offers in the summer.

Last summer, Liverpool knocked back a £200m offer for Salah from Al Ittihad. The 31-year-old remains the big target for the Saudi Pro League clubs.

However, according to Anfield Watch, the Egyptian forward is now leaning towards a contract extension with Liverpool instead.

The Reds will be very happy to keep Salah as long as he keeps performing like he has. This season, he has scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in the Premier League alone.

Even if this report is correct, though, the contract talks are yet to be initiated. It is likely to happen after Salah returns from the African Cup of Nations.
