Are Palhinha to Liverpool rumours true?

It was reported on Monday that Liverpool have begun negotiations with Fulham over Joao Palhinha. The Reds supposedly want the 28-year-old in January as they need reinforcement in the no. 6 position.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have not shown any interest in the Portuguese midfielder.

“For Palhinha at the moment Liverpool have not activated any concrete contact,” Romano said on his Kick stream. “Palhinha is in the list of many clubs.

“He could be very expensive – the price-tag going to be crucial. If Fulham believe they will let him go only for 75 or 80 million Euros it’s going to be difficult for Arsenal, Bayern, all these clubs.”
