Tsimikas reflects on Palace win

Liverpool fought hard to beat Crystal Palace in London on Saturday, with Harvey Elliott netting the winner in added time.

“It was really hard,” Tsimikas said of the game. “[It is] a very tough place to come but at the end we saw again our character. We never give up, Harvey scored this unbelievable goal and we took the three points.

“They were very compact from the start of the game. We tried to create something but it didn’t go well. So it was really, really tough and always when we come here it’s a hard pitch to play on.

“At the end the only thing that matters is the three points and we have to keep going for the rest of the season.”
