Gakpo: 'Ryan, Virgil and I don't have a group within a group'
Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo has said that while he likes having his fellow Dutchmen Ryan Gravenberch and Virgil van Dijk, there is not a group within a group at Liverpool.
"It’s lovely to have Ryan and Virgil here with me, but it’s not like we are a group within a group."
Two young players back in training with first team
Conor Bradley and Kaide Gordon have missed plenty of months with injuries but look set to return to senior football soon.
The duo was spotted in training ahead of the LASK game. Depending on how that match goes, there's a chance they could feature off the bench.
Liverpool in for Florian Wirtz
According to Sky Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool are among the top clubs in the race for Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz. Real Madrid, Man City and Man United are also named as clubs interested in the 20-year-old.
Bayer are hoping Wirtz will agree to stay for one more season, but there's acceptance that he'll leave in 2025 at the latest.
