Kostas Tsimikas previewed Liverpool's table-top clash with Manchester City this weekend.
The defender stressed the importance of getting all three points but admits Etihad can be an extremely difficult venue to do so.
"Especially in home games, they are very, very strong," he said. "But we are Liverpool. We will go there to play our football, to give absolutely everything and to win the game.
"I think that's the only thing that matters in these kind of games – to take the three points. We will go there to fight hard and to try to win the game.
"Anything can happen in this game. I think it's two of the best teams in the world right now. I think the only thing we have to see it like is as a final, to play our football.
"Everybody knows in this club we play [against] a very, very tough team. They are always there – they win the Premier League, Champions League last year, they make the treble last year. I think it will be a very tough one.
"I think everybody is looking forward to this fixture – from the players and the fans. I think it will be a very tough game for everybody.
"I think both teams need the three points, so we hope we will be the team who takes the three points. I think everybody is absolutely focused and there to give everything and to win this game."
