'Everybody knows': Kostas Tsimikas hints at Liverpool players' view on 12.30 kick-offs

As he explains the reasons behind his early return to Liverpool from international duty, Kostas Tsimikas spoke about the timing of the Reds' Premier League clash with Man City on Saturday.

The reference was in passing, but it was enough to show that the team is well aware of how often they play at 12.30.

"Everybody knows, most of the time we play 12.30 after the international break," Tsimikas told the official Liverpool website.

Liverpool have already played 12 times in that time slot since Jurgen Klopp's arrival at the club - twice as many as Tottenham and Chelsea in second place.

Despite Jurgen Klopp repeatedly making his concerns over the schedule vocal, the broadcasters don't seem to listen.
