Liverpool legend John Barnes has shared his thoughts on the recent reports linking Leroy Sane to the Reds as Mo Salah's potential replacement.
Salah has been the target of bids from Saudi clubs and his contract ends in 2025, which means Liverpool may want to sell him next summer unless he extends his contract.
"We’ve got Mo Salah so until Mo Salah leaves and his contract isn’t up for another two years or so we don’t need to think about that," said Barnes.
"I expect Mo Salah to be here for the next two years. Sane may not be the player he is now for two years."
"Sane is a good player but Mbappe is a good player," the 59-year-old continued.
"Him joining Liverpool would be great too but it’s just pure speculation. Salah has two more years at Liverpool and long may that last."
