Liverpool request VAR audio from Spurs defeat
Liverpool have made a formal request to PGMOL to receive the full VAR audio from Saturday's 2–1 defeat away at Tottenham in the Premier League.
The Reds are calling for more clarity regarding the two red cards that reduced them to nine men and the wrongly disallowed goal by Luis Diaz in the first half.
Van Dijk speaks out on Matip's own goal
"I know it's difficult as a central defender,' Virgil van Dijk told BBC Sport while talking about his defensive partner Joel Matip's own goal against Tottenham.
"If the ball is crossing with an ugly bounce, it's always difficult to clear it. It went in and unfortunately that can happen. He's fine, he's a good friend of mine and I know he will be fine."
Liverpool told to sign Man City midfielder
Darren Bent believes Liverpool will be a 'stronger' team if they managed to sign Kalvin Phillips, who is currently warming the bench at Manchester City.
He told talkSPORT: "Phillips would have been disciplined enough to just sit there and know his role. He's a good player, he could make them stronger because Alexis Mac Allister could then move into his natural position."
