'He wants Salah's blood': Spurs fans react as Son scores hattrick, only 3 goals behind Mo in Golden Boot race

 has hit a bit of a dry spell in terms of goalscoring as he has only one goal in his last four 

 games, with no open-play goals in his last eight appearances in all competitions.

 scored a hattrick tonight in Spurs' 4-0 win over Aston Villa - he now has 17 league goals this season.

Salah is on 20 goals at the moment. However, in terms of non-penalty goals, Son is in fact ahead of Salah, as the Egyptian King has scored five penalties.

Spurs fans reacted to this stat and Son's latest performance as they sent a message to Salah:

'I have already visualised it': Salah says Liverpool are 'really close' to winning the quadruple

"We've never done four before. This season we are really close and we are in top form.

"We've won the last 10 games in the Premier League so we are in a good way, and hopefully we can win the next game.

"We look at this situation now and we just have to enjoy it. We can't be in this situation and feel pressure. We just have to enjoy it and go for everything."

When asked if he's dared to think what it would be like to win four trophies, he added: "I have already visualised it so it would be a lovely feeling. Hopefully we can win four and have some fun times in the city."

Mo Salah: 'I know I am going to score anyway, I’m still top scorer in the Premier League'

 opened up about his recent form in an interview with 

 forward is confident that he will have an uptick in his goalscoring form and says it doesn't affect him as long as the team wins.

"I always look at this like the team has to win first then if you score it is going to be nicer, but if not, that doesn’t matter. The team has to win first and that is the most important thing because to win trophies the team has to win.

“For me, it doesn’t matter. If I can score that’d be nice but if not, it doesn’t matter really.

When asked if the lack of goals in recent weeks affects him, he responded: “Zero. I don’t mind. I know I am going to score anyway. I’m still top scorer in the Premier League.

“The goals are going to come but the most important thing is the team winning. With the team winning, we just carry on.

“We need to win the Premier League and the Champions League. That is the biggest target for us as players and as a team. The rest will follow.”

It is good to hear that Salah is defiant despite his recent struggles not only at club level but the heartbreak of missing out on the World Cup as well. 

Hopefully, he hits form in this crucial couple of months for the club, starting on Sunday.

I never wished anything to happen tomorrow except We win City in Etihad and Salah bounces back to his excellent performance and hits the back of City net more than once.  Nothing more, nothing less.
