Liverpool set for more benefit for Dominic Solanke deal as further clauses revealed

Dominic Solanke's sale to Bournemouth has long been considered Michael Edwards' masterclass.

The striker who scored just one goal in 27 games for the Reds was sold for £19m.

That deal, however, also included some add-ons and other clauses - which is why Liverpool are set for more profit, as the Liverpool Echo reports.

The total fee of the move is now £24m after Solanke came to life and scored 27 goals for Bournemouth since the start of the last season (including 12 goals in 16 games of this campaign).

Moreover, Liverpool have a 20% profit sell-on clause which would be triggered if Bournemouth raise over £24m for his transfer elsewhere.

According to some reports, the Cherries value the 24-year-old at £35m which would mean a further £2.2m for Liverpool.
