Sancho to United, Grealish to City & more: 8 completed, 8 expected big moves for Liverpool rivals in summer

Manchester United

Liverpool's bitter rivals have signed Jadon Sancho and Tom Heaton from Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa respectively and are set to announce Raphael Varane's move from Real Madrid in the coming days.

United remain linked with the likes of Kieran Trippier and Eduardo Camavinga but it would be no surprise if there would be no arrivals at Old Trafford until the end of the month.

Manchester City

Scott Carson's move to City on a free transfer from Derby is the only piece of transfer business the Cityzens have made this summer.

City, however, are believed to have reached an agreement with Aston Villa to sign Jack Grealish for a £100m fee. The Englishman is expected to be unveiled as a new member of Pep Guardiola's squad in the coming days.

Harry Kane could also become a Cityzen in the weeks to come as the Tottenham captain has gone AWOL to force his move out of Spurs lately.

Chelsea

As well as the Cityzens, Chelsea have only signed Marcus Bettinelli on a free transfer from Fulham so far.

On the other hand, the Blues have reportedly identified Romelu Lukaku and Jules Kounde as their major targets for this summer and it looks like the pair will eventually end up joining Thomas Tuchel's set-up until August 31 deadline.

Tottenham

Tottenham have used Erik Lamela as a bargaining chip to land Sevilla winger Bryan Gil to North London while Juventus centre-back Cristian Romero, who is currently on loan at Atalanta, is believed to be on his way to Spurs too.

It remains to be seen if Kane stays at the club beyond the summer but if he leaves, Spurs will definitely try to replace their best goalscorer with another striker.

Arsenal

Arsenal have signed Ben White, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares from Brighton, Anderlecht and Benfica respectively so far.

The likes of James Maddison, Aaron Ramsdale, Lautaro Martinez and Matin Odegaard have also been linked with the Gunners but it's unlikely that the North London club will make any big-money signings this summer after splashing £52m on White.

Others

There are also a few big transfers outside the Premier League top six that you should be aware of, namely Emiliano Buendia, Danny Ings, Leon Bailey to Aston Villa and Boubakary Soumare, Patson Daka to Leicester City.
