Liverpool are desperate to sign a new attacker this summer with Xherdan Shaqiri set to be on his way, according to Goal.

The likes of Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), Harvey Barnes (Leicester City), Pedro Neto (Wolves), Ismaila Sarr (Watford) are said to be in Liverpool's radar.

The aforementioned players have been tested in the murky waters of the Premier League and shown marked brilliance. Watkins for one bagged a hat-trick against Liverpool last season.

Barnes and Sarr shone at their respective clubs while Sarr, a pal of Sadio Mane, scored 13 goals in 40 games to help Watford gain promotion to the top tier.
