Liverpool have beaten Sheffield United 2-1 at Anfield. The Blades opened the scoring in the first half as Sander Berge converted from the spot after VAR official Andre Marriner granted the guests a very questionable penalty. Fabinho's challenge on Oli McBurnie was a hard one but it was most likely outside the box and it was hardly a foul.
Nonetheless, the Reds managed to come out on top, thanks to goals from Bobby Firmino and Diogo Jota.
