According to Football Insider, Harvey Elliott and Liverpool have ironed out the details of the new contract. However, the club are not prepared to announce the agreement due to the Premier League being on hold.
The youngster has been offered, and agreed to, a three-year, £20,000-a-week contract with a possibility to extend it in case some objectives are met.
The forward has impressed Jurgen Klopp and the Reds faithful this season after making seven senior appearances for the club so far.
Elliott, tipped to become one of the best English players in the future, joined Liverpool last summer from Fulham.
Last season, he made his Premier League debut with the Cottagers, 16 years and 30 days old, becoming the youngest ever player to feature in the competition.
