James Maddison has been weaving magic at Tottenham this season. Before his ankle injury, he was one of the best players on the pitch, maybe that has something to do with the tattoos on his arm.
The Englishman's magic on the pitch should come as no surprise as he is a huge fan of Harry Potter. He has three tattoos on the theme of the legendary franchise. The footballer has Harry's scar on his arm, along with the number from platform 9¾ and the Elder Wand.
Speaking to Ben Foster, Maddison opened up on his Harry Potter obsession during an Amazon Prime Video feature.
He revealed: "Massive Harry Potter fan. It was my birthday the other day so (my) missus got me an authentic signed Daniel Radcliffe signature with his wand and nice picture so that’ll go in the games room nicely. I’m a little geek when it comes to Harry Potter."
Foster asked Maddison if he's ever met Daniel Radcliffe, and Maddison replied: "No I could never meet him. I don’t ever want to meet Daniel Radcliffe, he’s Harry Potter to me! He’s my hero man."
Maddison added: "Every year I watch all the films at Christmas. My mates and my family say 'do you not get a bit bored if you watch it every year?' I love Harry Potter trivia, there’s a couple of Harry Potter games up there by the pool table so sorry for being a geek."
