Tottenham have been hit with another blow as star player confirms surgery for long-term issue

Tottenham are going to lose another player, as Richarlison is set to fix a long-term problem with his pubic bone. The Tottenham striker revealed that he needs some rest. He won't be joining the Brazil squad this month too.

Quoted by Sky Sports, Richarlison said: "The last few months haven't been easy for me. I've also been suffering with my health.

"I think I've already talked to the doctors and I'll soon have surgery on my pubic bone. I've been suffering for eight months; fighting, looking at the national team, and at the club."

"I think the time has come to rest, take a break. Let's see the next few days. Soon I'll do what's best for me."

It's bad news for Spurs, who already have 7 players unavailable for their next game against Wolves.

During the recent match, not only were Van de Ven and Maddison forced off due to injuries, but Destiny Udogie and Christian Romero got sent off, which means they won't be able to play in the upcoming game.

And that's not all – Ivan Perisic, Manor Solomon, Ryan Sessegnon, and Ben Davies were already sidelined with injuries. Fortunately for Postecoglou, it seems like Davies' injury isn't too severe.
