Vincent Kompany, the former football star, has expressed no concerns about Darren England returning to officiate in Burnley's upcoming match against Brentford this Saturday.
Darren England and Daniel Cook were temporarily sidelined from their roles as VAR officials following a communication error that led to the incorrect disallowance of Luis Diaz's goal for Liverpool against Tottenham last month.
Kompany said: "Mistakes are human. I like the fact there's transparency and that people come forward, own their mistakes, that we get access to the footage."
"There might be a trend here where we get the young referees who need to learn Premier League game time or we get the guys who are just coming back and easing their way in but I'm sure with time and better results that can change. For him personally, we all make mistakes."
This weekend marks the return of these two referees to action, with Darren England taking on the role of the fourth official at the Gtech Community Stadium.
