Bayern Munich bosses grow irritated with Thomas Tuchel over his 'erratic' behaviour

Bayern Munich's leadership is reportedly frustrated with Thomas Tuchel's behaviour during the summer transfer window. The club signed five players, including Harry Kane, this summer.

Tuchel wanted to strengthen the No. 6 position and showed interest in Declan Rice, who later moved to Arsenal for £105 million. Bayern also missed out on Joao Palhinha on deadline day.

According to Sport Bild, Tuchel's frequent negative statements and public demands have irritated Bayern's management, who describe his behaviour as "erratic." They felt he was prioritizing the signing of Rice over Kane, which they saw as a less essential move.

While Bayern considered bringing in another defender after selling Benjamin Pavard to Inter Milan, they did not approve of signing Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah or German international Armel Bella-Kotchap, despite Tuchel's initial influence on Chalobah.

Tuchel initially agreed to Bayern re-signing Joao Cancelo, who was on loan from Man City last season, but he changed his mind after consulting with his coaching staff, and Cancelo joined Manchester City.

Bayern's leadership also hoped for more clarity from Tuchel regarding the type of goalkeeper he was seeking as cover for the injured Manuel Neuer. Tuchel reportedly suggested several goalkeepers, including Bono, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Robert Sanchez, before the club signed Israeli Daniel Peretz.
