Moussa Diaby has been in the spotlight recently, with rumours linking him to both Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr and Unai Emery's Aston Villa. But the wait is almost over, as this week, it's been reported that he's close to making a decision about his future.
Both Al Nassr and Villa have agreed on a transfer fee with his current club Leverkusen. According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Diaby is likely to join Villa and connect his future with EPL.
"Moussa Diaby to Aston Villa, here we go! French winger has just said yes to Villa, he wants to join Unai Emery’s project — PL football as priority. Villa will pay fee in excess of €50m to Leverkusen for Diaby. Diaby picked Villa over huge bid from Al Nassr."
Diaby will be Aston Villa's third signing this summer after Pau Torres and Youri Tielemans.
