According to Daily Mail, Aston Villa are making a new and improved offer to sign Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen.
Al Nassr are also interested in signing Diaby. Both Villa and Al-Nassr have put forward bids for him, but they haven't met Bayer Leverkusen's asking price of around £52 million.
Bayer Leverkusen are heading to a pre-season training camp in Austria soon, and everyone involved hopes the deal can be settled before then.
Villa had considered signing Diaby two years ago when they were rebuilding their attack after Jack Grealish's £100 million move to Manchester City. However, back then, they thought he was too expensive.
