Aston Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen was attacked by some Man City supporters after their 3-2 victory to win the Premier League title.
As Olsen was making his way to the dressing room, a lot of fans invaded the pitch and some went on to take shots at the goalkeeper.
The Swedish goalkeeper had to be escorted inside the dressing room by security, but not before being struck multiple times by fans.
City have responded to the ordeal, as they released a statement that said: “Manchester City would like to sincerely apologise to Aston Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen, who was assaulted after the final whistle at today’s match when fans entered the pitch.
“The Club has launched an immediate investigation and once identified, the individual responsible will be issued with an indefinite stadium ban.”
