'I never expected this': Fan breaks down how Jose Mourinho evolved tactically after Spurs spell

Jose Mourinho is enjoying a good start at his new club AS Roma. Giallorossi have won all their 6 opening games in the Serie A and the Conference League.

It comes somewhat surprising after the Special One's relatively poor spell with Tottenham.

An AS Roma fan nicknamed Uutrox provides a detailed analysis of Jose's first few weeks at Stadio Olimpico.

"Mourinho changed a lot in his short time at the club. Motivation, hunger, organisation on the pitch etc.," Uutrox wrote on Reddit.

"Mancini, Pellegrini, Cristante are Mourinho type of players and you can clearly see their passion whenever they are on the pitch, the team really sticks together and everyone is fighting for each other.

"New players are just something else. No offense to Dzeko but Abraham and Shomurodov are just better and offer so much more going forward and we have Zaniolo back who we desperately missed last season.

"Biggest change in terms of tactics is probably for CB to just kick out the ball of play and get organization back.

"Even when there is plenty of room to work with the ball or pass it back to the keeper our CB are advised to kick the ball over the stadium.

"This sounds so simple yet we conceded plenty of goals last season where our relatively inexperienced players tried to make the most out of a 50/50 ball instead of just clearing it.

"All in all it looks like we can challenge for top 4 which I never expected going into the season with this squad.

"We have a rough October where things can melt and turn into a clusterfuck real quick - let's see how that turns out."

Here is how AS Roma lined up against Sassuolo in the Serie A clash earlier in September:
