Lionel Messi scores again, breaks MLS record 

Lionel Messi produced another outstanding display on Saturday to help Inter Miami defeat the New England Revolution 4-1 in the MLS. 

The Argentine scored twice and assisted Luis Suarez in the presence of 65,000 fans at the Gillette Stadium in Boston.

Messi now has 16 goals and assists in seven games, a record for any player in the American topflight. 

With this result, Inter Miami consolidates its position as leader in the Eastern Conference with 21 points, and the best team in the entire MLS.
