Takefusa Kubo surprisingly slammed Real Madrid following Real Sociedad's 1-0 loss to the Whites in La Liga.
"We deserved to win. A shame for the [match] time change and all this s**t that happened.
"They were lucky in their goalscoring play.
"Tchouameni falls asleep when he loses the ball. They don't ask for that in the Champions League."
Expectedly, this caused an outrage within Real Madrid's fan base as the Japanese has recently belonged to them!
Real Sociedad indeed looked slightly more dangerous and deserved a point at least. However, as it often happens, Real Madrid took their rare chance and won the game.
Interestingly, the Whites had owned 50 per cent of the economic rights for the player until recently when the 22-year-old signed a new deal with Real Sociedad. Real Madrid would receive half of his future sale fee.
Kubo didn't get any chance to prove himself at Real Madrid. He was part of La Masia from 2011 to 2015 before being forced to leave the club due to transfer limitations.
