Ancelotti: 'Lamine's shot not a goal, Vazquez penalty clear'

Lamine Yamal thought he put Barcelona in the lead in the 28th minute when he flicked a ball from Raphinha's corner.

Andriy Lunin saved the effort but it looked as if it crossed the line. The referee and VAR decided that it didn't and the goal was not counted.

There is no goal-line technology in La Liga to automatically determine whether it should have stood or not.

Speaking at the press conference, Carlo Ancelotti was asked about the incident. The Real Madrid manager said: "I think that Lamine's shot was not a goal. There's no way to clearly determine that the ball went in. So a goal cannot be given.

"The penalty on Lucas Vázquez seems to me to be well called, it is clear."

Barcelona ended up losing the game 3-2.
