Revealed: why Fermin Lopez replaces Andreas Christensen in Barca XI vs Atletico

Barcelona have been forced into making a very late change to their starting XI for the game against Atletico Madrid.

Andreas Christensen was in some discomfort in the pre-match training session and has had to be taken out of the line-up.

Instead, Xavi has decided to play Fermin Lopez in his place. This probably means that Sergio Roberto will play a deeper role in the team.

Christensen does not appear to have sustained any serious injury, but Xavi didn't want to take any risks to play a half-fit player.
