Barcelona are contemplating the sale of Mika Faye next summer, according to reports from Diario Sport.
Since his arrival in Catalonia last summer, the 19-year-old has quickly made his mark, securing 15 starts in his debut season with the Blaugrana's youth team. Finding a spot for Faye in the senior squad is a tough challenge, though, especially with an intense competition for the starting spots already on.
As such, the Catalans are leaning towards either loaning the Senegalese out for the next season or selling for a good fee, given the substantial interest in the player from abroad—particularly from clubs like Chelsea and Dortmund.
Barca acquired Faye for a modest €1.5m but with his market value on the upswing, a sale would undoubtedly bring a profitable return to the club.
