Fabrizio Romano gives 'here we go' on Barca's latest departure

"Clement Lenglet to Aston Villa, here we go!" Fabrizio Romano has tweeted.

Barcelona have reached an agreement with the Premier League side on the Frenchman's loan until the end of the season.

Lenglet also agrees on the move. He will travel to England later on Wednesday to get the medicals done and sign the contract.

There will be no buyout option in the deal. Aston Villa will cover 75 per cent of the player's salary.

According to Gerard Romero, Lenglet's exit will generate around €8m in Barca's financial fair play.

Lenglet's current deal with Barca expires only in 2026, so the club will try to sell him again next summer.
