"VAR is supposed to be there for correcting blatant mistakes: Whether a ball goes in or not, clear penalties, clear mistakes... but to call the referee because a player barely rubs his shoulder with the ball is absurd."

Valverde should be reminded that any kind of handball in attack is an immediate foul. And if the referee didn't see it, that's why we have VAR.

I'm not disputing the works of Valverde though, but don't forget that he inherited a well furnished and developed squad from Enrique. The only player that left was Neymar whom was replaced with your fanboy, Dembele. So he really didn't have to do much. But Xavi picked us from the gutters and is already doing well. He only needs European experience to be unstoppable, so show some respect to Xavi too. We suffer nowadays during matches, but we still get the results. That's a champion mindset Xavi has instilled in them. I know during Koeman era we just hold possession and still do nothing, but nowadays Xavi has showed us in some occasions that you don't need possession to get the job done. 

Give Xavi time and you'll realize that Valverde wasn't all that. But nevertheless, I still respect him though

Exactly not taking anything away from valverde but that team that Enrique left was unstoppable. And are you forgetting he had inform players like messi Suarez rakatic and many more top players. 

For the team we have with all these young players xavi is going a marvellous job. I honestly don’t care about Europe atm let’s dominate Spain once again and then we can think about Europe. 

And he has also shown that we can defend as a team now the last 8 years there wasn’t a hint of that. Last game the whole team was defending. Trust xavi and his plans. Great things will come out of this team I’m sure

I always respect my opponents and I had this utmost respect for them cause they're a good team that someway finds a way of defeating top clubs. But since after yesterday, the way I look at them now has totally changed

When Sore Losers lose, they hang on to every straw to avoid the reality of their defeat.

@BarcaFOREVER, don't forget that we've played them with our full squad this season and we whooped their asses 4-0. We came to their soil without our attack orchestrators, dembele and Pedri. Which is a huge minus for us, and we still managed to defend the lead. And you call that mindset of sore losers??? smh

After the game yesterday, seeing some comments and reactions from both Athletic fans and players, they've totally lost a bit of the respect I had for them. The remaining respect that's left is as a result of their coach Valverde. But I'm honestly disappointed in them. I thought they would understand the game better, but they seem to be lousy and tend to cry like Vardrid fans. I don't know whether they're not aware of the rules of the game. A clear handball that lead to a counterattack, but they claim to be ignorant. Saying our deal with Negreira still seems to be valid and all that bs😂😂

It seems it's Barca vs the world now which isn't new to me, and I'm loving every bit of it. Cause we will always come out strong. I love this club so much. Força Barça 🔵🔴🔵🔴💪
